Fresh Start from Read Write Inc is the phonics catch up programme we use to help the Y5 and Y6 children who require some intervention with their phonological awareness and reading. This programme is designed to get the children reading fluently quickly.
Children receive Fresh Start intervention three times weekly and this inter-weaves with the whole class read so that the children are still immersed within age-related texts.
