Our children will explore and understand a range of religions and world views; be able to express ideas and insights about the nature, significance and impact of religions and world views and gain and deploy the skills needed to engage seriously with them. We follow the North Yorkshire Agreed Syllabus, which is due to be updated in July 2024.
At Pickering Community Junior School, we openly discuss all faiths and non-faiths to provide the children with a diverse and enriching curriculum; primarily focusing on Christianity, Islam and Hinduism.
