Year 3 trip to the Bushcraft Company at Castle Howard

Year 3 Art work
The children have been learning about colour theory by studying the colour wheel and learning how to mix colours. They learnt about tertiary colours as well as warm and cool colours, complementary colours and contrasting colours, and how artists use colour in their artwork. They then produced their own paintings by creating a repeating image from nature.
Forest Schools
Forest Schools
Year 3 had a brilliant time doing forest schools this week. They made shelters and created a wonderful piece of natural art work by weaving grasses and other plants into a wooden frame. Thank you Mr Bateson, Mrs Winters and Mrs Cousins,

Year 3 have been learning about human skeletons and we had fun making our own skeletons.
